He told me to focus on what is lovely,
The trees are like paintings at this house.
He told me to focus on what is pure,
The love of Jesus so gentle and clear.
He told me to focus on what is beautiful,
The depths of my children's eyes like oceans.
He told me to focus on what is true,
The pages of scripture there for me to interpret.
He told me to focus on what is honest,
The fact that nothing can separate me from His love.
