Surface of glitter,
sparkling so calmly.
The water reflects the sun,
Mirroring the wonder,
and peace in my soul.
Not all understand the life below.
The surface,
a barrier between two worlds,
one of fluid and one of air,
one that every minute of a lifetime,
could not explore.
They sit here to drink too much,
I sit here to think too much.
So deep,
to swim in the mind that
can't compare to the sea,
that is before me.
